Conditions of Enrollment Students:

All student ages 4 and up interested in piano and willing to make the efforts are all welcome. Tuition charges are payable at the beginning of each ten lesson period. No refunds or deductions will be made for absence or withdrawal. In case of extended illness or other extenuating circumstances, a partial refund may be considered, if requested in writing.

 

Make up lessons are not guaranteed and may be considered under the following circumstances:

•Sick or Emergency only with notice in writing (email) prior to lesson •School closure (i.e. inclement weather, public holidays)

•Lessons missed due to Ms.Yaocen’s absence will be either made up or credited.

•No make up lessons are provided for lessons missed due to personal vacation. Non-payment of tuition or consistent late payment will result in immediate termination. If student needs to discontinue lessons for any reason, please give a 30-day notice in writing.

 

Practice: Students are expected to practice at home everyday (15min-30min).It is the parent’s responsibility to schedule and enforce the daily practice. Please help your child to establish and stick to practice routine, and plan to sit with your child for at least a portion of their daily practice time. Lack of improvement will result in monitored practicing from parents or possible termination of lessons.

 

Equipment: All students must have a piano or digital piano for home practice. Acoustic pianos should be tuned at least once a year, and kept in working order. If you prefer a digital piano,please invest in a full-size keyboard keys with weighted, touch-sensitive keys.
